I am very frustrated with Molina. After reading reviews I guess I am not the only one.

I had to cancel my insurance through Molina Exchange when it wasn't avalible in the county I moved to. I paid my premium 2 weeks in April before I canceled. I called the Washington Exchange to let them know and signed up with another insurance company. I then called Molina to cancel my insuance for the end of April.

I just asumed that Molina would refund my money automatical but they didn't. I called Molina on May 1 to see when my refund would be sent. They said it should arive within 2 weeks to 30 days. Thrity days later still no refund check.

I called again and they asked to to email them my canceled check so I did. I waited 30 more days still no check. I called again the customer service rep. said they would e-mail the financal department to let them know.

Waiting another 30 days and no refund. Called again they said they would "bridge the request" to the financial dept. Three days later a rep. called me with good news they were going to issue me a refund check and it should arrive in 2 weeks to 30 day.

Well 30 days is up and guess what no refund check. Call again today Oct 5 spoke to a rep and I ripped her one but all she said was Iam sorry ma'am I will email the financial dept. and let them know.

Help me!!!!! I am going crazy!!!

Don't choose Molina their crooks!

I made 3 payments to Molina for Jan, Feb and March 2016. I received a cancellation notice in March of 2016.

Called them to see what's up, they showed my payments but said I was actually cancelled in January and the state exchange confirmed it.

I make monthly calls to Molina to find out the status of my refund for the 2 months I wasn't covered (I've given up on the January payment as they've said I was covered but also have said I wasn't, but the state exchange said the term date was Jan 31, so I've conceded one month). They keep escalating my account to some mysterious department that can't be reached by phone directly with no response.

I've talked with 8 or 9 different reps at Molina, they're all really nice and each one wants to help, 2 of them talked to the state exchange with me on the phone and were told it's Molina's problem and confirmed what I was saying.

Two other reps at Molina wanted to call the state exchange again, but I said "go ahead, been there, done that already, read the notes."

It's October and I've spent another 1/2 hr today with them to get 2 months refunded ($660 and some odd cents).

I switched to another insurance company in April since I was going to throw any more money at Molina.

The funniest and saddest part was in July, I got another cancellation notice from them for not paying April to July.

They're messed up, that's why I gave up on them and switched providers (almost wasn't able to since it was not in an open enrollment period, that's another story but I was able to switch). All I can say is good luck getting your refund, I'm still waiting for mine, but not holding my breath.

I don't think this form letter will help get anywhere. I have spoken to Member Service repersentive many many times and this issue was suppose to me taken care of twice since May 2016 but no refund check they say it's been sent but no check has showed up in my mailbox which I check daily. So someone isn't telling the truth.
