Molina Health Care accepted payment and now theatens to cancel do to lack of payment

I submitted my payment via Molina's web site. Payment was accepted and processed. Then I receive phone calls and bill saying I didn't pay and that they are going to cancel coverage. I called and the CSR put me through to "billing" which turned out to be the standard clinical voice navigation system (and it took several times to get into the correct *** because the directions were AWFUL - you can pay your bill but you cannot fix it based upon the wording of one of the choices and if you select it, you get sent to "pay by card"), I believe I got into the correct menu system and sat on hold listening to the same musak loop for 40 minutes. I just got a new bill that says I haven't paid and that they will be cutting my coverage (I have paid, they processed the payment and their web site verifies it). If they messed up, they shouldn't be canceling coverage into they fix their issues.

Bad insurance company

Since I applied Molina healthcare insurance successfully, I already paid my payment on the phone for next month. However, they still sent me their bill WTF! I directly ignore the bill, and then they sent me an email on 13th and said that the bill is due on 12th WTF ! Ridiculous! I called them and they transfer me into another department, I held my phone almost 30 min No One Pick Up the phone... This company sucks, they don't care about their customers. Bad customer service. Also, their website really suck. You really cannot check your payment online. You'll never know whether you paid or not. Don't choose this company.

I chose Molina health insurance, because they offered a plan where you could supposedly see your primary care physician without meeting an annual deductible and only pay a $20 copay. I found out this was a lie!

After seeing my primary care physician, paying the $20 copay, and providing them with my insurance information, I received a bill for the visit. According to the doctor's office assistant, Molina denied the claim stating that I didn't meet my annual deductible. I then contacted Melina's customer service. They told me that they made a mistake and should have paid the claim.

They asked me to have the doctor's office resubmit the claim. I called the doctor's office and asked them to resubmit the claim. This did nothing to resolve the issue. They denied the claim again!

I called Molina's customer service again, but now I was told the claim was denied because the doctor provided services. The services that were on the bill were a blood pressure check and weight check(BMI). I was there to get blood pressure medications refilled. That's it.

No other services. Well, according to Molina's customer service, this changed the office visit to outpatient services subject to the annual deductible. I don't know about anyone else, but I've never been to any doctor that didn't get my weight and blood pressure. Molina just found, or made up, a way to get out of paying for primary care physician office visits once they got all of us suckers to sign up.

So deceiving!!

I can't wait to get away from these lying and cheating bastards! Please beware!

I live in Texas and have Molina as my provider, this company is nothing but a fraud and scam artist. They have list of PCP but non of them accepting Molina these providers are upset that Molina is using their name to scam people. People running Molina should be in jail for charging people every month knowing well that they have no service to offer.

Molina website broken

Nothing important works. I need to access my account, drug options, etc. and nothing works. Their tech support confirmed this but could give not timeline for a solution. It is one of the most important sites I need to access and it just does not work. Molina, please explain why this is so hard for you to fix. Every other website on the planet works better than yours. From their website: J. Mario Molina, MD, President and Chief Executive Officer, has been with Molina Healthcare for over twenty-five years. Also a practiced physician, he is proud to carry on his father’s mission. “Molina’s mission has always been about putting the patient’s needs first. Everything we do is based on making sure members have access to high-quality care in an environment they can trust.” Really? Molina, please respond to this.

I HAVE 2 DAYS TRYING TO CONTACT MOLINA HEALTH CARE BY PHONE AND NOBODY ANSWERS, JUST THE PHONE MACHINE, THEIR AGENTS NEVER RESPOND, I AM STARTING TO THINK THAT THIS COMPANY DOES NOT EXIST AT ALL!!!! Molina Clinic in Moreno Valley, CA

I had to see a dr. for my UI. I made the appointment. They gave me one, but I had to wait for a month to go in. Then they called me and said that they had to cancel my appointment, but I can come in as a walk in. I came in as a walk in and they told me that the dr. for walk in did not show up after I waited for a couple of hour. Because the dr. didn't come in, they suggested that I go to the urgent care on Hamlet, which I did. Meanwhile, this place gave me a different appointment, which is again, is not till another month. I was supposed to be seen this Friday, but they called again to tell me that they have to reschedule my appointment. I changed my primary dr. as soon as I called them back to hear what kind of BS they have to tell me this time. I have to give it some kind of a star, so that's why it's 1.

I have a serious heart condition that requires certain meds for me to live. I was paying four dollars for my medication, until my insurance kicked in from Molina, now it's $353, because Molina won't cover it.

Molina asked for prior authorization from my PHP, and they denied me because it's a compound drug. Molina made me take the two drugs that are in the medication separately , and my health has declined drastically. Compound drugs are compound for a reason. Molina said if took the drug separately and it didn't work, get another prior authorization and I will be approved for the correct medication.

They lied I was denied again. MOLINA IS KILLING PEOPLE!!! This insurance provider is set up not to pass any authorization for any drug at all.

If my PHP and my cardiologist say I need this medicine for my heart to become stronger, why is Molina denying me. I am literally afraid of dying.

Transportation sucks. The drivers are always late or doesn't show up or they never put your reservations through and when you complain about their drivers the person says they're very sorry, that being said I don't want to here excuses I need to make my appointments on time.

Molina Transportation sucks, they make up excuses when their drivers doesn't show up. I experienced rudeness when I spoke with a supervisor. I also had to reschedule 6 appointments in one month for the same doctor before thanksgiving. I was waiting for a return trip...

Molina Healthcare - Children Medical Service Review from San Bernardino, California

My children were denied medical service. My children were sick on 9/24/14. I took them to Molina. They except walk in patients...so they say. After waiting an hour, my kids were triage. The nurse then told me the doc would review the file and choose whether or not to see them. My daughter was there for a possible UTI. My son was there for stomach pain. His pain has been ongoing for a week. I had previously taken him to the ER where he was X rayed and treated. The ER doc told me to take him to his primary if he was not better. All of this I explained to the nurse. Well my children were not deemed sick enough to see the doctor, and after over an hour of waiting I was told to take them to urgent care. Excuse me!!!! Since when is medical treatment denied? Who determines how sick a child is without even examing them? I see this has an easy way for molina to bill the insurance without seeing the patient...they bill for triage. So off I went to urgent care (a lovely 4 hour wait). My daughter indeed had a UTI. But here is the best part... They wanted to know whyi didn't take my son to his primary because he needs more testing (I.e., ultrasound, labwork, EKG...). I said I know he needs more testing, but his primary DENIED SERVICE. Good going Molina San Bernardino...I know you don't care one bit about your patients!

Molina "overlooked" my Dr appt, then said my confirmation number meant nothing

Sept 3rd I had an appt with a doctor. Frustratingly after a conversation with Molina Transportation services (Including manager Matt V) Molina admitted they forgot to pick me up, and that I was "overlooked".Molina gave me a confirmation number on Sunday stating my ride will pick me up between 9:45-10:15 for my appt at 11am. When my ride did not arrive at an appropriate time, I called Molina to which they admitted my confirmation number meant nothing, and it was too late to pick me up to see the doctor on time. They reassured me I did everything per protocol then said some monotone words they thought were an apology. They called the doctor's office telling them what happened because I wanted the practice to know that this was their fault. What happens if I go through withdrawal now I say to them. Again a robotic apology

I'm writing this because I blamed Molina healthcare services for denying me a visit to surgeon regarding an implant rupture. I was so wrong!!

Molina did not receive ANY request from my Dr asking for referral. I was quick to blame Molina because I believed my Dr.

I spoke today with a wonderful young man from Molina and although I don't believe I will recover from my Drs negligence, at least I now feel like Molina cares. I'm sorry for the misunderstanding on my part .

I am becoming so disgusted with the level of Provider Service I am receiving from Molina, our company was credentialed to provide services for their clients. All call to them go to voicemail and when you get a representative, they sound like you are bothering them!! What kind of company treats their partners like this. We are the ones on the ground everyday seeing the patients and when you call to get help on your claims all they tell you is wait and talk to your representative who can never be found. I am very disappointed as a provider and they need to change!!

My Molina "nurse coordinator on my case, Chandra Tanner in Hunt County Texas threatened to drop my coverage for home care provider (I am elderly and disabled) because I have had some bad companies (who violated state law governing them, or did not live up to their specified responsibilities, etc...) or had bad providers (ie. stole.

drank on the job, would not show up, would not perform even close to their duties, who harassed me to give them some of my possessions, etc...).

Molina refuses to pay the monthly bills owed to small assisted living facilities

evrytime a claim is submitted to molina for payment, they always come up with something wrong about the claim form. First it's a code missing, then a birth date or a gender identifier or a signature that cannot be read. So when does the lying and the BS stop. I believe that molina intends to keep the money and launder it to an off shore account. molina is a fraudulent company with a bunch of thieves in it starting from the owner down to the janitor. They should be incarcerated for thousands of years. This is happening to a lot of small assisted living facilities in the Tampa area. This complaint comes from someone in the business for the past 28 years, molina is so disorganized and chaotic and unprofessional.

I HAVE BEEN WITH THIS COMPANY NOW FOR A LONG ENOUGH TIME TO KNOW THAT THIS COMPANY IS NOT WORTH A DIME. I WAS TOLD WHATEVER SOUNDED GOOD SO THAT I WOULD SIGN UP JUST TO FIND OUT I WAS LIED TO.

THE PROVIDERS BOOK IS NOT COMPLETE, WAS NOT GIVEN UPDATED INFO WHEN I ASKED FOR IT. HAD ASKED MY CASE WORKER TO SEND SOME INFO FOR ME RE:PROVIDER UPDATE WHICH HE SAID HE WOULD AND GET AN EMAIL TELLING ME TO CALL ANOTHER NO. WITH NO EXPLANATION AS TO WHY HE WOULD NOT SEND IT. JUST A BIG RUN AROUND AS A WHOLE.

STAFF SEEMS UNINTERESTED WHEN ASKED QUESTIONS. I HATE THIS COMPANY AND CANT WAIT TO GO TO A DIFFERENT COMPANY. RAISING ANY CONCERNS IS USELESS AS I HAVE FOUND OUT.
