They reversed 15 years of progress with my health and nearly killed me

I was put on this insurance through the state because I cannot afford insurance on my own currently. It was fine for awhile but they started messing with my medicine for my chronic asthma. First it was the medicine to control the asthma which they decided they no longer cover (and chose to tell me 2 weeks AFTER they stopped covering it literally days before I needed a refill). The doctor put me on another medicine from their "approved" list the insurance will cover and it is not working for me. To top it off, without any sort of warning they decided to not give me the prescribed rescue inhaler either and they gave me some random one I've never taken that has not been working for me at all. The doctor has been fighting to try and get the correct inhaler for me and the stupid insurance keeps declining it and trying to force what they want on me that does NOT work. They even have a note on their website claiming that with the doctor's prior authorization I could get the correct medicine but that's a big fat lie and they declined that even though their website clearly states that can be done. So now here I am suffering from 3 asthma attacks in the last 3 days. I had to go to the doctor for emergency treatment because of this. This stupid insurance company is nearly killed me. This is not right and it's a bunch of *** they can override the DOCTOR's prescriptions for what I NEED for MY health. The doctor couldn't go into details but said they have several other patients where Molina has screwed them as well with particular medicines they need and are suddenly not allowed.

Switch drs

Cannot get in touch with anyone to switch my doctor my primary one and my appointment is Monday morning first thing how am I supposed to sit on the phone and change that what if I miss my appointment this is ***

I am having the same problem. My broker told me to just call them after my eligibility date and put in a request for my primary doctor but no one answers the phone and my procedure is Friday. This is some scam and I'm expected to pay them hundreds of dollars until the end of the year.

Trying to talk to an actual representative is impossible. Sometimes our problems cant all be fixed by an automated loop. You need to have an option to speak to a representative. Its ridiculous.

Difficulty in speaking with a “Live Person”

When I call Molina and I input the # options for instance for changing my PCP sometimes I can get a live person. At other times I could input the same number options and there will be a recording that says Im sorry we cannot process this request you need to talk to a call representative or something like that. This is really frustrating because when you have to put all your personal information: Birthdate, last 4 of social and jumping through a bunch of hoops pressing this Number for that option and then after all that you cant get a hold of a real person. You understandably feel super frustrated. I feel that this call system is either not staffed with enough personnel or is very unprofessional.

Can't log into my account

I can't log in , I've called about 10 times , they'd given me a temp code to log in to reset my password ,it doesn't work ,they don't know what they're doing .

I cant get straight answers nor the care I need.

I have had molina for 1 month and its been exceedingly frustrating and disappointing. They talk in circles and just keep transferring you from one person to another never proving a solution. They deny the most basic of care as which is so maddening. I thought this is what I was paying for! There is 0 regard for the consumers BASIC medical needs. The stall tactics are absolutey disgusting. I am sooooo profoundly sorry I chose them in the first place. AVOID-AVOID-AVOID!

Impossible to contact - Website is the worst

First they never mailed the card - then you have to have their member number to register - which you don't have. Finally, after spending no less than 2 hours trying to get a hold of someone - they finally give you the member id to register - I register on the website - enter the answer to a security question - then get an email to validate registration - enter the answer which is correct - it says invalid answer. All of this is because when I registered with my primary care provider - they assigned someone I have NEVER heard of. When asked why they changed the primary care provider - they said I probably went into a clinic. Which I have not done. And if that answer was valid assuming someone else had my card, and went to another clinic - then why couldn't my primary care provider change my account to them. I am really sick and this is totally unheard of incompetence .

Bill question

I got the surgery on April, and it said I should pay 583.06$ out of pocket. I paid already, I don't know why this month the hospital changed the bill or insurance company changed the bill, and it said I should pay over three thousands for that surgery. I don't think I can afford that, especially during the pandemic time. The reason why I got the surgery was that I might get the cancer if I didn't do it, or already cancer. Please email me if you guys have any questions, I might not be able to pick up the phone, I have to take care of my little baby, thank you.

Lost voice need help

I have had laryngitis and bronchitis for over three Months now and no voice and all I can find is phone numbers for you so hopefully this will work or you can show someone. I ordered some OTC stuff the other day and it came yesterday. I got an ear thermometer and a digital oral. The oral thermometer doesnt even work. Its wildly in accurate. Saying LO or Super Low temp where as all other thermometer readings on the ear and another oral say I have a fever. I was wondering if I can get refunded for that and just get another thermometer. I am bedridden so Im usually just in bed but occasionally will sit in my recliner to eat when I can eat and such. Thank you for your time. I hope you and your loved ones are safe, happy and healthy.

Bad website experience

When using the website to see what specialist are available through their Molina Marketplace products they do not list neurology, endocrinology, or many specialists that should be available to the public and members.

User's recommendation: Check if your specialist and primary care are part of the network before buying!!!!

BEWARE

I was in prison for 15 years. And I needed my teeth cleaned after my prison release. So, I had to get on Molina and Delta Dental. As a result, the dentist that did the dental work really messed up my teeth. I had much better dental care in prison. When Molina set me up with their doctors, I was put on drugs. Every doctor that Molina assigned me to, gave hydrocodone to me. Turned me, into a drug addict. Now I am 65. And Molina had sent out my box of medical supplies that I had ordered. But, I never received my $300. worth of medical supplies. Next, they will say, I am sorry. Just more of the same bull-shit. I will be contacting President Trump. I will contact the BBB. I will expose the idiots that are not capable of being professional. Trump will be re-elected in November. Until then, we will watch the Federal Government arrest the child molesters, satanist, etc. And it will be fun to watch as President Trump removes this ignorant company and replace it with the real deal.... TRUMP2020

Need to speak with customer service!

Molina Healthcare - Need to speak with customer service!
I am being charged for one of my kids not being covered at a curtain time or day in a collection agency, which I know and was aware my children had coverage. I do have the information and I would like to speak with someone to help get that fixed.

Worst Customer Service among Health Care providers

I has Molina as a secondary and it has not been one instance when they denied coverage or decided to not pay co-pays. If you want to talk to any one, good luck. They are never available and their answering system goes in circles. 180*-869-**** is absolutely useless. Even the letters of denials are completely incomprehensible. I do not ever recommend this company to anyone.

Trying to use insurance

Molina is absolutely worthless...I have been not feeling well for days. Molina has been no help. They have referred me to an Urgent Care that does not even participate. They also assigned me a dr that does not participate. I switched to another dr. When I called to make an apt. The office never even heard of him...this is just the tip of the iceberg. I do not understand how such a *** company is still in business
